How long does it take to receive the final photos?
8 weeks is my typical turnaround time- we will agree on a delivery date when going over the details of your day, and that is included in the proposal.

What is your camera lineup?
Gear doesn't replace an eye - no camera can teach timing, vision, or knowing where to stand. But on a wedding day, where there's no second take, it matters more than almost anywhere else in photography.
I shoot on two professional mirrorless bodies - a Canon R6 Mark III as my primary, backed by a second Canon R6 - with every image writing to two sd cards simultaneously, so a card or camera failure never costs you a moment of your day.
What really sets my work apart, though, is what runs alongside those digital bodies: two film cameras I shoot on every wedding. My late grandfather's 1970s Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic - 35 mm & the medium format Pentax 645N on 120 film. Together, these bring a depth and softness no digital sensor can fully recreate.
How do you help couples who think they are awkward in front of the camera?
Almost every couple tells me this. Here's the secret: I don't pose you; I prompt you. Instead of holding a stiff position, you'll have something to actually do, a place to walk, a person to lean into, a reason to laugh. The photograph I'm after is never the prompt itself. It's the honest moment it sets off, once you've stopped thinking about me and you're just with each other again.
Who brings out your best work?
The couples who bring out my best tend to see the world the way I do. They notice the small things; they trust me to lead, and they're genuinely in the day rather than watching it happen. Two people laughing with the people they love, present instead of performing, is where my strongest work comes from every time.
What would you photograph again and again?
Two people in love, and a setting worthy of them. A building with real romance to it, set against a coastline or a mountain that feels almost too beautiful to be real, and the couple who make it mean something. Grand, intentional design beside wild natural beauty is a contrast I could photograph forever, but it's the people standing in the middle of it that I'm really there for.
